CHAN Eagles star Afeez Aremu has joined Ghanian Premier League side Inter Allies from Nigerian academy side Westerlo Football Academy 90minutesgoal.com reports.

The 19-years-old Aremu was part of the Akwa United squad that finished 4th in the Nigeria Professional Football League and also won the AITEO Cup in 2017.
Nigerian club FC Ifeanyiubah last December.
“I am excited to be signing for a good club such as Inter Allies. I am looking forward to working with the new coach and the players. I hope to do my best and exhibit my quality to help the team,” Aremu told 90minutesgoal.com.
Aremu who is an Integral member of the CHAN Eagles, was spotted by Inter Allies during the WAFU Cup which was hosted and won by Ghana in 2017.
The implication of Aremu's transfer to Inter Allies means the former Rivers United midfielder may not be part of coach Salisu Yusuf's 23-man squad to next year's CHAN in Morocco, as the CHAN competition is for players who play in the local league of their country of birth.
Aremu has started training with his new club and will play under coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi who previously handled FC IfeanyiUbah and Accra Hearts of Oak of Ghana.

Yatsuhashi was fired by FC IfeanyiUbah in 2016 technical incompetence, regressive training regime and disregard for the Management of the club.
